Conferences and congresses
International panels, guest speakers, a mixed audience. Everyone picks a language and follows the whole programme, hall by hall.
Live AI interpretation
VerbaLive translates your speaker as they talk and delivers it straight to every listener’s headphones. No booth, no receivers, no interpreter in the room.
Works on iPhone, Android and in the browser. Nothing to install.
Listening in English
Thank you all for coming out this morning.
What we are about to show you started two years ago,
with one very simple question…
How it works
Nothing changes on stage. Your speaker talks the way they always do and the room sorts itself out.
One microphone and a laptop plugged into the sound desk. No booth, no new cabling, nobody extra on stage.
The audio is translated and spoken back in a natural voice, in every language at once, while the speaker keeps going.
Each person scans the QR code, picks a language and listens on their own headphones, with live captions running on the phone.
Who it is for
We work across Montevideo, Punta del Este and the rest of the country, plus hybrid and online events anywhere.
International panels, guest speakers, a mixed audience. Everyone picks a language and follows the whole programme, hall by hall.
Buyers from Argentina, Brazil, the United States and Europe in the same Punta del Este presentation, without giving the talk three times.
Two families, two languages, one ceremony. The speeches land while they are being said, not afterwards.
Sermons and liturgy for congregations with several mother tongues, every week, with the same kit.
Onboarding, audits and regional committees without stopping the agenda so someone can whisper a translation.
The same translated audio for people in the room and for people watching from home, at the same moment.

Comparison
Human interpretation is still excellent. The difference is cost, logistics, and how many languages you can run at once.
| — | VerbaLive | Booth interpreter |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per event day | from USD 150 | USD 400 to 800 per interpreter |
| Simultaneous languages | Up to 70, all at once | One per booth, two interpreters each |
| Equipment in the room | The listener’s own phone | Booth, console, receivers and a technician |
| Setup time | 10 minutes | Half a day |
| Parallel halls | No practical limit | A full crew per hall |
| Live captions | Included | No |
| Event transcript | Included in the full-service package | Booked separately |
| Nuance, humour and delivery | Very good, better with a glossary | Excellent |
For a closed negotiation or a very high-profile speech, hire a human interpreter. For a full room following along in four languages without breaking the budget, that is us.
FAQ
Anything missing? Write to us and you get an answer the same day.
Two to four seconds after the speaker finishes a sentence. Your ear adjusts within the first minute: it is the same lag a human interpreter has when they wait for the end of a thought before translating it properly.
We use Google’s live translation model, the same one that translates in real time inside their products. It handles Rioplatense Spanish, voseo and regional accents. Before the event we load a glossary of names, brands and technical terms so nothing gets lost.
It is the first thing we check. The speaker needs a stable connection; listeners need very little, because they receive compressed audio, less than a streamed song. When a venue cannot guarantee it, we bring our own router on a dedicated mobile connection.
No. Audio is processed on the fly and never stored. Only the translated text remains, and only if you asked for the transcript. We sign a confidentiality agreement at no cost before the event.
More than 70, including Spanish, English, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Italian, Hebrew, Chinese and Arabic. Combine as many as you need in one event, and add one at the last minute.
Not at all. The QR code opens a web page and the audio starts right there. Anyone who prefers the VerbaLive app can get it on iPhone and Android, with background audio and the screen switched off.
Yes. We run a fifteen-minute demo with your own content, in person in Montevideo or over a video call wherever you are.
